Bluetooth Viewer LITE: A Simple Bluetooth Connection Debugging Tool
Bluetooth Viewer LITE is a simple Bluetooth connection debugging tool designed specifically for programmers. This Android application allows you to connect to Bluetooth devices that meet specific conditions. The device must broadcast data automatically upon pairing, without any handshake or protocol negotiation, and the data must be in ASCII format.
With Bluetooth Viewer LITE, you can easily confirm successful pairing and monitor incoming raw text data line by line, if the device broadcasts such data. This gives you the ability to see exactly what is being transmitted from the Bluetooth device. Additionally, you can also send raw text data to the connected device.
While the current version of Bluetooth Viewer LITE focuses on basic functionality, future development plans include support for Bluetooth devices that broadcast binary data, an option to view data in hexadecimal format, and the ability to add a timestamp and GPS information to incoming messages. The developer also intends to introduce a plugin framework for customized views tailored to specific Bluetooth devices, particularly various types of sensors.
